22 Geeky Birthday Gifts (under $50)

I turned 22 this past January 25th and in honor of this not very momentous birthday, I thought I’d show you some of the gifts I got as well as other geeky gifts that are still on my wishlist ;). All products shown will be under $50*

*Oh, and FYI — prices are accurate and items in stock as of the time of publication.

Now before I get on with the fun list, here are a few links to help you save some money.

Ebates – Ebates is a website where you get paid to shop. I know, sounds too good to be true. Ebates gets a commission for sending its members to retailer’s websites and they share that commission with us. This link will give you $10 back off of your first purchase of $25 or more! Best part, They partner with over 1,800 stores! Including DisneyStore, Etsy, eBay, Barns&Noble, Society6 and so, so many more.

So far I’ve earned nearly $90 for using Ebates. It doesn’t sound like a lot but it’s a nice little chunk that gets put in my PayPal after the Holidays.

BookOutlet – BookOutlet is a great place to get NEW books for a fraction of the cost. They also have Scratch and Dent books for even cheaper. (I recently got a Hardback Box set of the Lunar Chronicles for $13. Just the corners and one of the sides were a little banged up.) And free shipping with a $35 order. With this link, you’ll get a $10 coupon when you spend $25!!!

Book Depository – This is the best place to get international book cover and have it shipped to the U.S. I’ve personally bought all of the 20th Anniversary U.K. Harry Potter series with the new covers. And they are just beautiful ❤ And free shipping WORLDWIDE to boot!

Thrift Book– Get Used books that are in good condition starting at $3.79! and free shipping when you spend over $10! 10. Dollars. So inexpensive!

And now, on to the fun stuff!

1. ACOMAF Chapter 55 Mug- $16

My best friend gave me this mug and let me just tell you, I’m glad she didn’t give it to me with a bunch of people around. For anyone who has read the second book in the “A Court of Thorns and Roses” series by Sarah J. Maas, you surely know what chapter the mug is referring to ❤ ❤ <3.

( Although, personally I loved chapter 54 more. It’s so sweet and raw as one of the characters bears their heart. I went on a whirlwind of emotions while reading that chapter. I laughed, I cried, I held my breath as I anxiously waited to see if the character was accepted as they had just laid their past and soul at another’s feet. Sarah is my favorite author. She spins words into gold and literally ANY gift that is in reference to one of her books will be one of the best I’ll ever receive.)

(Here’s a LINK to get $10 off your first order of $40!)

2. Captain America Shield Necklace – $7.50

Another Birthday Gift from another Bestie! This is such a sweet little pendant that can easily be worn with whatever your outfit is that day. I personally try to wear something nerdy every day. Even my “Little Black Purse” that gets pulled out for fancy occasions has Disney Villans stitched into it so that it’s subtlely nerdy.

3. Talk Nerdy To Me Wine Glass – $7.95

Now I didn’t get this for my birthday but I may just have to buy myself a gift (just this one of course 😉 ). My favorite part of this item is that it comes in SOOOOO many colors! It’s so easily customizable to fit the person you’re giving it too.

4. Not All Who Wander Are Lost Leather Journal – $24

Who could ever forget this memorable quote from The Lord Of The Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien? This Journal has refillable pages. You can switch out the booklet just as fast as it takes you to write in it.

3 Words.  Disneyland.  Entrance.  Clock. Best way to countdown the minutes until your back in the Happiest Place on Earth.

6. Never A Quiet Year At Hogwarts Tote Bag – $20.99

Not gunna lie, I use tote bags as purses. Like for years, this has been happening. Before I knew of Society 6 and their vast assortment of totes I was using an old red Trader Joe’s Tote Bag. It was big, all of my crap fit into it and it was awesome. Now I get the same amount of room but with a touch of nerdy flair.

7. Infinity T.A.R.D.I.S. Scarf – $18.90

For your fashionable, Doctor Who obsessed, generally cold friends.

8. Lunar Chronicles Magnet Bookmark Set – $12

I find it hard to use these bookmarks to actually save my spot in a book. I like them decorating my bookshelf to much <3.

9. The Selection Duffle Bag – $50

“Break my heart. Break it a thousand time if you like. It was only ever yours to break anyway.” – Maxon Schreave, The Selection Series

10. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban: Illustrated Edition by J. K. Rowling – $36.49

Getting a copy of the illustrated edition of my favorite Harry Potter book was so amazing! I cried and I don’t care who knows it. The artwork is beautiful and I can’t wait for the little boy I nanny to have a bit longer of an attention span so I can start reading him these books <3!

11. Peter Pan’s Flight Retro Poster Print – $39.99

I’m just obsessed with old-timey Disneyland. I love that this print brings us right back to when this attention was opened on Disneyland’s opening day, July 17, 1955.

12. The Valient by Lesley Livingston – $5.39

I told your Book Outlet was incredible. One of 2017’s must-reads for $5 and change. Oh, and it’s a brand new Hardcover. What else could I ask for?!

13. Wonder Woman Carry-All Pouch – $25.99

These pouches are so versatile and can hold pretty much anything. Things such as pens, paper, books, feminine hygiene products, Essential Oils, knives, you name it. (Yes, at some point in time, I’ve had everything listed above in one of these pouches.) They come in 3 different sizes. The one shown above is the largest size at 12.5″ X 8.5″.

14. Wooden Star Wars Music Box – $26.42

This little music is so unique. I’ve never seen anything like it and just can’t help but love it. It plays the main theme song <3. Go check out the rest of their music boxes. They have multiple Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, and Star Wars boxes. (I don’t know the people who make them but love their items so much I can help but promote them.)

15. Sirius Black’s Wand – $37.50

This quote is by the Author of the Shadowhunter Chronicles, Cassandra Clare. Coupled with this rainbow artwork it’s sure to brighten up any room you put it in.

19. Star Trek Ring – $32

Y’all, really all my accessories are geeky. This sweet, little ring comes in sterling silver, gold plated, and 14-carat gold (price changes with every ring).

20. Bookworm Mug – $14.75

I also have a slight mug obsession ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
