Bone Crier’s Moon by @kathrynpurdie
.
As Leurress, Ailesse and Sabine are tasked with the sacred duty to prove themselves righteous in the eyes of their gods by not only killing 3 animals for their strengths and abilities but to also lure their soulmates upon a bridge with a siren’s song only they can hear, and sacrifice their love’s life upon the stones.
.
Aliesse, ever the bold hearted, feels like she can complete these tasks without a moments hesitation. But when her soulmate, her amouré, steps upon the bridge he isn’t as transfixed by her song as he should be. In fact, he’s been hunting for Ailesse, for any Bone Crier. To kill one of them just as they had lured and killed his father.

This thrilling book will have you flipping the pages faster and faster all the while making you want more, more, more…Everytime you think you know what’s going to happen next, the exact opposite happens. You never know what direction the book will twist or turn next and that feeling is exhilarating. .

I took this picture with some of my late mother’s favorite clothes. Not only because they worked well with the color scheme but because she will forever be the Ailesse to my Sabine. She was bold and outgoing to my calm and thoughtful. I’m honored that most of my life she felt like a sister to me as well as a mother, rolemodel, instigator in ridicules things, late night snacking buddy, tv binginger, best friend and Leuress. And as much as I long to see her again in the afterlife, I know she smiles down at me from paradise, excited to have a front row seat to the amazing life I have yet to live.
